MANCHESTER — Over 50 pounds of processed and unprocessed marijuana were seized mid-November from a barn in Manchester Center by the Manchester Police Department, according to an MPD press release issued last week.

The department received a tip from community members about "a possible large amount of marijuana" being stored in a building on Pig Pen Road and began an investigation, which led to the marijuana being found by officers Nov. 15.

Police estimate the street value of the marijuana to be between $160,000 and $200,000.

No one has been arrested at this time, but police have "several persons of interest," according to the release.

Anyone with information relating to this case is asked to call the MPD at 802-362-2121.
