Woman charged with smashing car window with hammer


BENNINGTON—A Shaftsbury woman has been summoned to court after smashing a car window with a hammer, according to a Vermont State Police press release.

Tiffany Rounds, 30, drove to a Pownal home July 7 and smashed the rear driver's side window of a car parked outside of a home with a hammer, according to the release.

According to Vermont State Police Sergeant Frank LaBombard, the event happened after Rounds and the victim, who were in a relationship, had an argument earlier that day.

Rounds was issued a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court August 27 at 8:15 a.m.
