Wildlife Festival returns to Mount Snow

SOMERSET — On Sunday, Sept. 22 the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will return to Mount Snow for the ninth annual Vermont Wildlife Festival. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. attendees will have the opportunity to talk to sportsmen's clubs, adventure learning and outdoor education organizations, museums, anglers, bird watchers and many more representatives of Vermont's diverse outdoor community. At the center of it all will be family friendly activities and live animal encounters from around the region.

Admission is free, thanks to the museum and the support of the Town of Dover, Mount Snow and the Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additional support comes from all of the groups present who donate their time and expertise to promoting the wonders of Vermont nature. For a full schedule of presentations or for more information go to the Museum's facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/2370261169737151/ or contact the museum at 802-464-0048. Donations are gratefully accepted and go toward meeting festival expenses.
