The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region has won a gold Lamplighter Award for its work in healthcare marketing from the New England Society for Healthcare Communications, a professional society.

The Lamplighters were established to showcase and honor excellence in healthcare communications throughout the New England region. The 2020 competition totaled 282 entries which were judged by other healthcare marketing societies across the country.

"This is such an honor," Bernadette C. Robin, director of marketing and business development for the VNAHSR, said in a media release. "It is extremely gratifying to have marketing and creative professionals around the country recognize our work and to be honored with an impressive peer group from around New England."

"We have a great story to tell about the value and importance of home health care and hospice care," Ron Cioffi, executive director of the VNAHSR, said. "I'm very proud to have our agency showcased with the best in New England."

"The Lamplighter Awards are a testament to excellence in healthcare marketing and communications, and are a wonderful way for our members to have their work recognized by their peers and colleagues," said Dan Dunlop, principal at Jennings Healthcare Marketing and current NESHCo president.
