Vermont Wildlife Festival will be held Sept. 22 at Mount Snow
DOVER — On Sunday, Sept. 22, the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will return to Mount Snow for the 9th annual Vermont Wildlife Festival.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. attendees will have the opportunity to talk to sportsmen's clubs, adventure learning and outdoor education organizations, museums, fishermen, birdwatchers and many more representatives of Vermont's diverse outdoor community.
At the center of it all will be family friendly activities and live animal encounters from around the region. Meet a live snapping turtle, birds of prey, giant snakes and much, much, more! This event is free of charge thanks to the museum and the support of the town of Dover, Mount Snow and the Mount Snow Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additional support comes from all of the groups present who donate their time and expertise to promoting the wonders of Vermont nature.
For a full schedule of presentations or for more information go to the Museum's Facebook event page or contact the Museum at 802-464-0048. Donations will be gratefully accepted and go towards meeting festival expenses.
