Staged reading to benefit Dorset Playhouse roof fund

DORSET — The Dorset Players will present A Night of One-Acts by Chris Bohjalian, a special stage event and meet-and-greet reception for the acclaimed Vermont author at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Dorset Playhouse. The evening will feature a staged reading of Bohjalian's plays titled "Three Deuces (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)," toplined by his daughter, Grace Experience, a professional New York-based actress and award-winning audio books reader.

A Night of One-Acts is a benefit for the Dorset Players' Playhouse Roof Fund to defray the cost of future improvements and recent repairs. The event was organized by Players member Maureen Chaffee, who has enlisted Elisabeth Hazelton, Caren McVicker, and Joelle Greenland, also of the Players, for the performance with Experience. Chaffee will also be directing the performance.

Dedicated readers of works by bestselling novelist Chris Bohjalian will have a chance to meet the author and Experience at a meet-and-greet reception in the Playhouse caf following the stage performance.
