Sandgate man uninjured in single-vehicle crash Monday

ARLINGTON — A Sandgate man escaped injury Monday in a single-vehicle crash, officials say.

Michael Koscinski, 58, was driving a 2006 Ford F350 on River Road Monday when he crashed, causing driver-side damage, according to a release from the Vermont State Police, Shaftsbury Barracks.

The release did not state the time of the crash.

According to the release, Koscinski said a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction encroached on his lane, causing him to swerve and lose control, striking a tree.

Police are attempting to identify the other vehicle possibly involved, according to the release.

Arlington Fire and Rescue also responded to the crash.
