Riverfest Saturday at the Spruces

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Riverfest, a celebration of the Hoosic River, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Spruces Park on Route 2. The event is organized by the Hoosic River Watershed Association.

In addition to HooRWA's raft rides on the river from Ashton Avenue to Spruces Park, there will be exhibitors from environmental organizations, live music featuring MoCA Jam and Rosin the Bow and group sing-a-long. Williamstown's "Bee Friendly" will schedule a scavenger hunt and there will be food vendors from Wild Oats Market and Olympic Pizza. Demonstrations on fly fishing and kayaking will be offered by experts from Berkshire Outfitters. Raffle prizes drawn for an e-Bike, kayak, shade tree and clothing gift certificates.

Parking is free. The $8 admission for adults includes a raffle ticket.
