Renters 101 offers training
BENNINGTON >> Bennington Renters 101 recently offered a free training for Bennington residents. The training included three sessions: Housing Readiness and Search, Tenant Responsibilities, and Landlord Relations and Panel (including area landlords). There were approximately 18 participants in this three week program.
Bennington Renters 101 is a program developed by the Housing Committee of the Vermont Council on Rural Development Poverty Work Group. The Poverty Work Group was identified as a priority of the Bennington Residents at the VCRD Community Meeting in the Spring, 2012.
This was the third session of Bennington Renters 101: A Key to Happy Renting. The next session will be offered in the fall.
