BENNINGTON — Bennington police are seeking two male suspects in a residential robbery along Bowen Road on Saturday morning.

The suspects entered the house before 6:20 a.m., with one brandishing a knife, said Lt. Camillo Grande. No one was injured, he said when asked to confirm a report that the homeowner had come face to face with the suspects.

One of the suspects was wearing a black sweatshirt, brown pants and was bald, Grande said.

He declined to say what valuables were taken and if the house had been unlocked during the robbery, citing the integrity of the police investigation. But he reminded residents to "always lock their homes and vehicles whenever possible."

Anyone with information on the incident can contact Officer Robert Murawski at 802-442-1030 or send a tip through the Bennington Police Department's website, benningtonpolice.com.

Robbery incidents in Bennington this year have slightly decreased compared with the same time last year, Grande said in response to a question.
