SHAFTSBURY — A Shaftsbury woman allegedly assaulted a family member in the presence of a child, according to a news release from Vermont State Police, Shaftsbury Barracks.
Victoria Cerniglia, 21, was arrested Monday afternoon at a residence on Route 7A in Shaftsbury after law enforcement responded to a report of a domestic disturbance, police said.
Cerniglia entered a plea of not guilty to the misdemeanor charge in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division on Tuesday, according to court records. — Banner staff
