Natural History Museum holds open house Feb. 15

MARLBORO — The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will hold its annual free open house on Feb. 15 from 1 p.m. until closing.

This year, organizers are offering the opportunity to learn about the wild animals found in local backyards and woodlots. Live animals, Fish and Wildlife biologists, a tracking walk, wildlife photography, storytelling, kids activities and more will provide something for all ages.

Snacks will be available, with proceeds benefiting the food fund for the museum's live education animals. Last year's successful bonfire will be repeated, beginning at 4:30 p.m. behind the Vermont Distiller's Building.

Follow the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum on facebook for more information about specific program times, guests and any new developments. For more information, visit or call 802-464-0048.
