Molly Stark hosts first Holiday Bazaar

BENNINGTON — This Saturday, Dec. 2, students from Molly Stark Elementary will welcome the public into their school for the first-ever Holiday Bazaar.

The inaugural event will last from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature over 40 vendors, according to librarian Allyson Hoffman. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

"There will be something for everyone!" said Hoffman. "We will have chili, hot dogs, chili dogs, and other refreshments. There will be pictures with Santa, and Santa's workshop, where children arrive greeted with elf ears to wear as they choose to make laminated snow globes, ornaments, decorated Christmas trees, and more!"

In addition, the event will feature an on-site gift wrapper to wrap some of the homemade gifts that will be for sale, along with a cake walk, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle every hour, face painting, free sign up for door prizes every hour, and more.

Hoffman took charge in recruiting local vendors for the event, which she hopes will become an annual tradition.

Molly Stark is located at 181 Orchard Road in Bennington.
