Flag Team 1

The Minutemen team one struggled this weekend in a game where points were few against a strong Brunswick defensive team. Sawyer Tatro had the only Bennington touchdown running in from 5 yards out and the final score was 12-6.

Flag Team 2

The Flag Team 2 won their game, 28-7.

Talin Bartholdi had the first touchdown of the game with help from his two lead blockers, Maverick Pratt and Reno Jarvis, who both had great runs for 10-plus yards each. Carson Kenyon then gave the Minutemen a 14-0 lead with a stupendous 50 yard dash to the end zone before the half. Brunswick came back with their only TD of the game to start out the second half. It was a short lived celebration with Bartholdi answering back on the first play of their downs with a 60 yard run to the end zone.

The Minutemen then held the Bulldogs for the rest of the game with great flag pulling from Jackson Reed and Garrett Lacroix. The Minutemen were still not finished. They ended the game with fabulous runs from the brothers Abram Loveland and Adrian Coulter to help Jeremiah Cooks get the last 15 yard TD run to the end the game. Other players like Connor Marsh and Damien Shorts also showed off their impressive running skills. All of these players love the game and give 100% effort all the time.
