Maxine Linehan to perform at SVAC

MANCHESTER — Maxine Linehan & Friends will perform an open-air concert at the Southern Vermont Arts Center on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 6-7 p.m. A limited number of tickets, priced at $35, are available online at

Linehan said she is thrilled to "finally be back onstage live with some of my favorite musicians" for this one-night only event. Linehan will be joined by Andrew Koss, Joana Genova, Ari Rudiakov, Nathaniel Parke, Heather Braun, John Clark, Steven Moran, Geoffry Gee and Long Trail School music students, and Rebecca and Gabriel Koss.

"Ms. Linehan, who was born in Ireland, exudes the comfortable rootedness of a performer who knows who she is and where she came from," The New York Times said. "At the same time, Ms. Linehan is an adventurer." The Huffington Post called her "glorious, with a tender, thoughtful, and heartfelt voice that delivers both in musicality and emotion."

SVAC will be hosting a prix fixe dinner after the concert at the newly renovated curATE cafe. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Call 802-430-2570 for reservations. Dinner tickets are $75, and do not include tax, gratuity or alcohol.
