Letter: Vermont Steak House event was well done

To the Editor:

On Friday, April 27th, the Bennington Elks Club was transformed into the former Vermont Steak House, for the third year in a row. The Pinsonneault family members, their spouses, along with former staff and friends put on this sold out benefit dinner (with two seatings), to support three charitable organizations in Bennington. Those organizations are, The Elks Silver Tower Project, Cancer Center Community Crusaders and Turning Point Recovery Center. All very worthy causes.

The evening was filled with great food, great conversation and laughter, put on by a great civic minded family. Everyone had a personal Vermont Steak House story or memory to share. Great fun!

I would personally like to thank the Pinsonneault family for sharing your culinary talent and favorite Steak House recipes with our community, once again, all in order to raise funds to help to support others in our region. I know that your parents, Ed and Pat, would be so proud of all of you.

Thanks for the new Vermont Steak House memories!

Mary A. Morrissey,
