Letter: 'Misleading' description of Cuomo's actions

To the Editor:

Mr. Green is once again deliberately spreading misleading details on this particular issue. Cuomo never "mandated" that nursing homes accept COVID-19 patients IF THEY WERE NOT IN A POSITION TO CARE FOR PERSONS WITH THE COVID-19 VIRUS.

He originally sent his letters to the editor on this matter around the latter part of April after I advised him that Gov. Cuomo issued his specific directive on this issue back on April 23, but Green would not admit his mistake. Now he suggests that Cuomo waited until this past Sunday, May 10, to, as Green deliberately and stubbornly misstates, clarify the details on which Green is focusing. Green is merely attempting to cover over his own actions in spreading his original misinformation.

I suggest that if you receive letters from Mr. Green on political issues, you carefully check his information for accuracy.

Ralph Colin,

East Dorset
