To the Editor:

I was on my way home Friday from Mount Snow. Returning on the Molly Stark my car tire was complaining as I came into Bennington. I pulled in to the Stewart's Shop parking lot and heard and felt a large thump. Little more than you like to hear. I tried to drive forward and was able to move a few feet, but I came to a full stop in an area where it would have been best not to be parked.

From the moment I stopped, people were asking if I needed help. Young, old, male, female, just seeing I had a problem and approaching me to see if they could do anything. All of the kindness was so appreciated, and I thought it should be mentioned how generous everyone was. Thank you.

Charlene Pray,

Hoosick Falls, New York
