Letter: Dr. Dundas is right on Medicare for All
To the Editor:
Yes, why do we need health insurance, anyway? Perhaps health insurance should be relegated to add-ons like breast enhancements or reductions, cosmetic surgeries and all sorts of non important extras like private rooms, suites, etc. Insurance companies spend most of their money on fighting claims, paying their administrators and especially the CEOs. Why should consumers have to pay for this? A government-run payment system paid for by a truly progressive tax system is what we really need.
