Letter: Don't allow Misch to spread ideology

To the Editor:

The photographs of Max Misch in the Banner's Tuesday, Aug. 20 edition should not have been published. For a self-described white supremacist to wear a tie with the American flag on it is a self-serving attempt to link American patriotism with his racism. His wearing an Iraq veteran's cap is similarly his attempt to connect the admirable service of our armed forces with his destructive ideology. The Banner can report the news concerning the charges against him without giving him a platform in the headlines and in images to promote his ideology.

L.M. Cheriton,
