Eagles edge Twin Valley

WILMINGTON — The Arlington boys basketball team edged Twin Valley, 52-47, on Friday night.

Keyshawn King led the way with 23 points, a season-high, while Jack Lane added 14 for the Eagles, who improve to 4-3 on the year.

Indians power past Waterford

CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. — The Cambridge girls basketball team had no trouble remaining unbeaten as they crushed Waterford, 73-20.

The Indians took a 28-4 lead after the first quarter and cruised from there.

Four players finished in double figures for the Indians, including Fiona Mooney leading the way with 19. Sophie Phillips continued her strong campaign with 17 points, while Lilly Phillips added 12 and Victoria Dupuis chipped in with 11.

Cambridge is 12-0 and plays its third game in three days on Saturday when they travel to Mechanicville for a 1:30 p.m. start.

Hoosick Falls at Stillwater, 7:30 p.m.

STILLWATER, N.Y. — Hoosick Falls sophomore Logan Thayne scored a game-high 28 points as Hoosick Falls rolled past Stillwater, 62-38, on Friday night. Marley Mueller led the Warriors with 12 in the loss.

BENNINGTON — Become a member of the 2017 New England Football League Maritime Division champions, the Southern Vermont Storm. The team is looking for players for next season in all positions.
