Dorset Historical Society hosts lecture

DORSET — The Dorset Historical Society's Third-Thursday Lunch-Lecture will be held Jan. 17.

This month the series will feature Michele Pagan, who will be discussing houses in East Dorset located on area maps dated 1856 and 1869.

Pagan has extensive museum experience and has researched the homes and lives of the families who lived on Mad Tom Road, Route 7 and Benedict Road.

She will offer an armchair tour via PowerPoint to show you the audience more than they ever knew about this early chapter of Dorset history.

The Dorset Historical Society's free lunch and lecture series begins at noon at the Society's Bley House Museum on Route 30 at Kent Hill Road.

Bring a sandwich. Drinks and desserts will be provided.
