Posh Pups Parade takes place Saturday

Manchester Designer Outlets will be hosting the Posh Pups Parade on Saturday to benefit the Second Chance Animal Center. Parade registration will be at the Marble Mill Plaza beginning at 8:30 AM. Charlie's Coffee House will be on site with coffee and pastry for sale. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Pups and owners will parade down Depot Street to the Red Carpet at Manchester Square, where pups will be judged in the following categories: Best Posh Pup and Owner Costume, Best Fashionista Pup, Fasted Wag, Firmest Paw Shake and more.

BENNINGTON'48 Peaks' author speaks Thursday

Cheryl Suchors, author of "48 Peaks: Hiking and Healing in the White Mountains" will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bennington Free Library, 101 Silver St. Books will be available for signature and purchase.
