Community College of Vermont announces Summer Honors List

The following students at CCV were named to the Summer 2019 Student Honors List:

Arlington: Avery Bucchieri and Erin Murphy.

Bennington: Brittany Brimmer, Kelly Flanagan, Taylor Hendee, Jeremy Roy, Wendy Schaefer and Jessie Stern.

Manchester Center: Sharon Green.

Pownal: Eva Dailey and Tracy Hurley.

Local students recognized

Adam Richter of Wilmington has graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

Assumption College has announced that Julia Martin, of Pawlet, is a recipient of the prestigious Light the Way Scholarship, awarded to incoming students who utilize their abilities to help others or make a meaningful difference in the world.

Austin Buttle of Shaftsbury is one of the nearly 400 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the spring 2019 semester.

Melissa Hruska of Pownal has earned a bachelor of science, nursing degree from Western Governors University.

Cambridge students recognized

Cambridge Central School District Secondary Principal Caroline Goss has announced that seniors Nolan Byer and Abigail Maher were recently recognized as commended students in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. A letter of commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation will be presented to both students by Goss at a later date.
