BBA looking for boys soccer coaches
MANCHESTER — The Burr and Burton athletic department is looking for boys soccer coaches at both the junior varsity and varsity levels.
In addition to being knowledgeable about the sport and having the ability to teach sport-specific skills, candidates should be able to provide vigorous educational experiences, teach respect for individual differences, demand the highest standards of performance and behavior, foster a mindset of perseverance, and establish a supportive and caring community. The ideal candidate views coaching as an opportunity to help young people develop into healthy adults.

MAU coaching positions
BENNINGTON — The Mount Anthony athletic department is looking for coaches, including varsity girls tennis and varsity girls soccer coaches. They are also looking for a middle school softball coach, two middle school baseball coaches, a JV girls lacrosse coach and a middle school boys soccer coach.

BBA hockey raffle
MANCHESTER — The Burr and Burton boys and girls hockey teams are once again selling cash raffle tickets. These tickets will be drawn on senior night later in the season. Only 500 tickets will be sold.
There are three cash prizes: 3rd place wins $500, 2nd place wins $1,000, and the grand prize is $2,000.

Former MAU pitcher hosting clinic
BENNINGTON — Former Mount Anthony and current Sage College pitcher Taylor Dicranian will be hosting a seven-week pitching clinic this winter.
The clinic will run each Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Anthony gym through January 19.
All ages are welcome and the cost is $100 for the clinic. Payment is due at the first session.

New England Colonials looking for players
RUTLAND — The NEC International Basketball Club is pleased to announce its 40th Anniversary Ambassadors Tour.
The club has been invited to visit and play by teams in Europe and Dubai in April 2020.
The team is looking to enroll ten Vermont high school players (boys in grades 9-12) for this ten-day tour.
This is a competitive tour for players with JV and varsity experience and a sense of adventure.
The Vermont Colonials will begin its tour in Luxembourg City where they will represent the USA in the annual Sparta Bertrange Easter Tournament which draws teams from around the world. After games in Frankfurt, Germany, the team will fly on to Dubai where they will be hosted by the Greenfield International School.
The NEC International Basketball Club is a nonprofit, volunteer-run program that has as its central purpose the support and encouragement of international friendship and understanding between New England student-athletes and their peers around the world. Our Colonials fundraising program has helped numerous New England players raise all or most of the money needed to cover their tour expenses.

Sage soccer clinic
ALBANY, N.Y. — Join Sage's men's soccer team for their 2020 Boys' Soccer ID Clinic on February 15. The ID Clinic will take place at the Armory at Sage in Albany and will run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is open to the first 28 registrants. The cost is $60 per attendee. Registration starts at 3 p.m. in the Armory. The event is open to boys' soccer players graduating in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
