Arlington Farmers' Market seeking produce donations

ARLINGTON—The Arlington Village Farmers' Market is looking for donations of excess garden produce to benefit the Arlington Food Shelf and the local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

This produce will be sold by the Arlington Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, with 80 percent of the profits going to the Arlington Food Shelf and 20 percent going to the Scouts.

Produce donations can be dropped off at the rear kitchen door of the Arlington Inn on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Extra grocery bag donations are appreciated, too.
