Winburn Law Offices collecting food

Winburn Law Offices, in conjunction with the Vermont Attorney General's office and the Vermont Bar Association is collecting food and contributions for the Vermont Foodbank, now through Sept. 30 as part of "Lawyers Fighting Hunger Food Drive." The firm will be collecting non-perishable food and/or monetary donations. All food donations will stay locally and be donated to Bennington area Vermont Foodbank partner food shelves and meal sites. Webster wedding announcement

Mr. and Mrs. John Carson of Bennington, are overjoyed to announce the marriage of their daughter, the former Miss Molly Angela Carson, to Mr. Thomas James Webster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Webster of Hancock, N.H., on Sept. 23 at Divine Mercy Parish in Peterborough, N.H. The bride wore her mother's ivory taffeta wedding gown from 1985, featuring intricate appliqued lace and beading and a full hoop skirt, converted to an open back with a lace-trimmed sweetheart neckline. Bennington-area musicians Edwin Lawrence (organ), Francois Secordel (violin), Karl Brosch (viola), Perri Morris (cello), and Ralph Thomas (music librarian) provided classical music for the ceremony, which was officiated by the Reverend Michael S. Taylor. A rustic, country-themed outdoor reception with a buffet dinner and dancing was held on the Websters' property in Hancock, where Bennington DJ Jay Sager warmed up the crowd for the Julie Shea Band, whose lead guitar player is the father of the bride. Williamstown, Mass., photographer Tucker Bair documented the festivities. Molly Angela Webster (Miss Vermont International 2014) is a 2016 graduate of Clarkson University and is employed as Inbound Transportation Supervisor at C&S Wholesale Grocers in Keene. TJ Webster is a 2015 graduate of Clarkson University and is employed by Cohen Steel Supply Co. in Concord. The bride and groom are both members of the 158th Fighter Wing ("the Green Mountain Boys") of Vermont Air National Guard, based in Burlington. After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Hancock, N.H.
