SPRINGFIELD — March is synonymous with dancing in the world of basketball. On Friday night, Mount Anthony boys basketball punched their ticket to “the dance” - also known as the playoffs - with its 89-62 victory over Springfield.

Carter Thompson led all Patriots with 21 points, while Shemar Sookdar and Braeden Billert each poured in 17.

MAU (6-5) plays at Mount St. Joseph Academy (6-3) Monday. Tip off is 7 p.m.
