DORSET — Long Trail girls basketball lost a close battle to Bellows Falls 48-42 on Saturday. The Mountain Lions forced the game to overtime, but were unable to come away with their second win of the season in a hard-fought battle.
Freshman Olivia Cole-Bugay led Long Trail with 19 points. Bellows Falls benefited from Julia Nystrom’s 20 point performance.
Long Trail (1-9) returns to the court at Poultney on Friday.
