BENNINGTON — Mount Anthony softball defeated Burr and Burton 20-0 in five innings behind another complete game shutout from freshman ace Abby Foster.

Foster allowed just one hit and struck out five. She showed great control, not walking a batter.

Madisyn Crossman went 3 for 3 at the plate for the Patriots, adding an RBI while Taeya Guetti (3 for 4) drove in four runs.

MAU improves to 11-2 and plays at Otter Valley Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. BBA is now 6-6, and hosts Springfield Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
