ARLINGTON — The Eagles girls soccer team battled back from a 3-1 first half deficit to force overtime against Proctor on Friday night, but the Phantoms scored on a counter near the end of the first overtime period to escape with the 4-3 win.

Arlington had a handful of scoring chances in the overtime period, but were not able to turn one into a goal.

Sidney Herrington scored twice for Arlington and Magnolia Robinson had one goal.

Arlington (1-3) hosts Stratton Mountain Tuesday at 7 p.m.
