Mount Anthony's Grace McQueeney boxes out Burr and Burton's Ainerose Souza.
MANCHESTER — Burr and Burton girls basketball exploded for 24 points in the fourth quarter to complete a comeback 44-39 victory over Springfield on Friday night.
Ainerose Souza anchored the run from the free throw line, connecting on all eight of her foul shots as part of a 10 point quarter from the guard. Souza finished with 13 points. Nevaeh Camp added 6 of her team-high 14 points in the fourth.
The Bulldogs improve to 11-4 and return to the court Wednesday at Rutland at 6:30 p.m.
