BENNINGTON — Anytime Fitness is offering free “preseason bootcamp” workouts to any interested Mount Anthony winter sport athletes.

This is the second instance of the local gym offering free workouts for MAU athletes, as they also offered the same deal to MAU fall athletes prior to their season.

There will be two sessions offered, and athletes can pick whichever one fits their schedule. Each session consists of a two week, six class workout program. Each workout will last approximately one hour and will be run by a Anytime Fitness instructor.

Session one begins Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. and will include Saturday (1:15 p.m.) and Monday (3 p.m.) group workouts. Session one will conclude Monday, Nov. 23.

Session two begins Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 2:30 p.m. and will include Saturday (2:15 p.m.) and Tuesday (3 p.m.) group workouts. Session two will conclude Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Athletes under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign a waiver before being allowed to participate. Athletes 18 years or older must sign the waiver themselves.

Anytime Fitness is asking that those interested in the program contact them either by email or by phone (802-681-0161) by Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. to confirm they will be participating.
