POWNAL — A fire broke out Thursday in a trailer across the street from the Dollar General in Pownal. No one was injured.
The cause of the structure fire is unknown and still under investigation, Justin Lamsky from the Pownal Valley Fire Department said.
Pownal Valley and Pownal fire departments were the first at the scene. Bennington Village and Bennington Rural fire departments provided mutual aid assistance. The fire department from Williamstown, Mass. was on standby.
