POWNAL — Due to concerns over holiday gatherings potentially increasing the number of COVID-19 cases in Vermont, the Solomon Wright Public Library leadership has decided to move back to a curbside-only model of service beginning on Nov. 27.

For more information on how to order books for a contactless pickup, visit the library’s website,

Until Nov. 27, the library will continue being open for browsing, with some restrictions, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m.

“We wish everyone a healthy and safe holiday season,” library director Jen Ryan said.
