BENNINGTON — They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Jack Perry, a sixth-grader at the Village School of North Bennington, dressed like a crossing guard for “Dress like a Staff Day” at the school.

He bore a striking resemblance that day to Terry Maher, the school’s facilities manager and crossing guard.
