BENNINGTON — The Better Bennington Corporation is happy to announce Heritage Family Credit Union is sponsoring all of the live music for the five Thursday Night Live events.
The sponsorship reflects Heritage Family Credit Union’s support for the community, the arts, Downtown Bennington, and the continued success of the series and the Better Bennington Corporation’s affiliation with Hemmings.
“Thursday Night Live not only provides a perfect opportunity to kick back and experience some good, old-fashioned summertime fun, but these events also remind us of everything that makes Bennington so incredibly special,” said Ryan Butler, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at Heritage Family Credit Union. “Hearing the music and seeing the community come together downtown against a backdrop of small business shows Bennington at its very best, and there is no place Heritage Family Credit Union would rather be.”
Thursday Night Live originally launched in the summer of 2022 through a grant and crowdfunding campaign. In 2024, Heritage Family Credit Union joined as a sponsor during a transitional year. This year, the organization is helping ensure the series’ sustainability.
The Thursday Night Live Music Series will take place in conjunction with Hemmings Cruise-Ins’ 2026 schedule from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. “The Hemmings Cruise-In and the Better Bennington Corporation’s Thursday night live events have become a monthly summer staple in downtown Bennington,” said Keith Carey, BBC board president and owner of Gamers Grotto. “The collaboration between these organizations brings hundreds, if not thousands, of local residents, tourists and families from surrounding communities into the heart of downtown, creating an immeasurable impact on its vitality. As a local business owner, I truly appreciate the opportunities these events provide to welcome new visitors into my business and engage with them in a meaningful way.”

The Hemmings Cruise-In has become more than just a summer series—it’s a celebration of community, car culture, and everything that makes downtown Bennington special,” said Jen Sandquist, Head of Operations and Marketplace. “Partnering with Better Bennington Corporation allows us to bring people together in a way that feels authentic and timeless, where great cars, local businesses, and neighbors all come together to create something truly memorable. We’re proud to continue building on that tradition year after year.”
