BENNINGTON — Planning for Bennington’s 2021 month long celebration of Pride has begun.

The organizers, Queer Connect Bennington, say there will be a full spectrum of events offered both within the local community as well as virtually.

Everyone with an interest in learning more, and helping to lay the groundwork for the celebrations, can join the group safely online at Visit our website at www.queerconnectbennington.com.

Queer Connect offers a variety of ongoing opportunities to connect, including a weekly Lesbian Story Hour where authors read from their works, a monthly Healing Circle, and upcoming holiday gatherings online.

“We welcome all ideas for additional activities and events and are here to support you, so reach out and let’s continue to work together to strengthen our communities!” the group said in a release.

The QYLT (Queer Youth Leadership Team) will be offering a grant writing workshop series in the winter break, with openings for both experienced and aspiring grant writers to work together and produce successful funding streams. For more information, call 802-379-5456.
