MANCHESTER — The Manchester Center Knights of Columbus donated and delivered Christmas baskets of food to the United Counseling Services Northshire office last month, helping make the holiday brighter for families who find themselves in difficult financial situations.
The Knights of Columbus “have donated the baskets each Christmas for many years and the impact is far reaching and touches the lives of many families in the community,” said Heidi M. French, director of community relations and development for UCS. “The Knights also increased the number of baskets they provided this year, so we were able to support more families in need.”
United Counseling Service is a private, non-profit community mental health center serving Bennington County since 1958. For more information visit ucsvt.org.
