BENNINGTON — Story Night, on hiatus since the spring, returns on Oct. 13, in partnership with the Bennington Performing Arts Center — The Home of Oldcastle Theatre Company.

Tickets are $5 and are available online at or with a reservation by calling 802-447-0564. Showtime is 7 p.m., and seating is limited to 46 people.

Michael Nigro is hosting the event this month with an open mic for folks who want to tell a true, first-person story (from a distance of course) live and without notes. This month’s theme is “Fame.” You had an amazing interaction with a celebrity. Or you had your own five minutes of fame. Or you were this close to fame. However you interpret it, tell your own story and achieve fame at the Bennington Story Night.

To reserve a storytelling slot, or for more information, call BPAC at 802-447-0564, visit, or contact Jennifer Jasper at or Michael Nigro at

“Story keeps us engaged and connected with our community, especially during times of upheaval,” Jasper said.

Run-time will be approximately 75 minutes.

COVID-19 Notice: The lobby and bar will be closed and masks are mandatory while in the theater and lobby area, with temperature checks upon entry. Seating is limited and reservations are mandatory.
