Vt. ski condo complex fire put out; $2M in damage


WARREN (AP) - A fire at a condominium complex at the Sugarbush Ski Resort in Warren has been extinguished, but police say it might have caused millions of dollars in damage.

The Warren Fire Department says one crew of firefighters is still on the scene to ensure the fire doesn't rekindle.

ate police say the fire began after 1 a.m. Monday.

Officials say 36 units sustained "significant damage" but everyone was able to escape safely without reports of any injuries. It's unclear how many units there are at the resort.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire. They estimate damage to be about $2 million.
