Vt. police search Otter Creek for missing woman
PROCTOR (AP) - Vermont State Police are searching the Otter Creek for a Proctor woman who has been missing for two weeks.
Police say there's no indication that 59-year-old MaryAnn Foster planned to leave the area.
Foster was reported missing by her boyfriend on Feb. 26. He told police he had not seen her or heard from her since the night of Feb. 24.
Authorities say she disappeared without taking her jacket or keys.
A ground and air search of her neighborhood has failed to find her. On Monday, police canvassed the Proctor area. On Tuesday scuba teams were searching the Otter Creek near Foster's home.
Anyone with any information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Vermont State Police at 802-773-9101 or the Rutland County Sheriff's office at 802-775-8002.
