Vermont veterans' hospital gets new chief doctor
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION (AP) - Vermont's Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in White River Junction has a new chief of staff.
Dr. M. Ganga Hematillake has extensive experience as a physician executive within the VA hospital system.
Hematillake's background is in clinical care for veterans, research and health care administration.
He has worked at VA hospitals in Kansas, Pennsylvania, Utah, California and other locations.
Hematillake is a graduate of the St. George's University School of Medicine and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
