Vermont secretary of state gets leadership post
MONTPELIER (AP) - Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos has been elected by his peers to serve on the Executive Board for the National Association of Secretaries of State.
Condos, who will serve as secretary on the board, had served as the group's eastern region vice president the past two years.
Condos says he hopes to continue his focus in the group on issues including elections and voting, state business services, and digital archiving. He says those issues are important to Vermont and to states around the country.
