Vermont law enforcement cracks down on impaired drivers
MONTPELIER, VT. >> Vermont police are cracking down on impaired drivers through the holidays.
The state has joined the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" national campaign.
Officials say law enforcement agencies across Vermont will conduct extra patrols and sobriety checkpoints to detect impaired drivers. Police will also use law enforcement drug recognition experts to evaluate suspected drug impaired drivers.
The campaign runs through Jan. 3.
