Vermont Corrections Department seeks public input


MONTPELIER (AP) - The public is invited to weigh in on new legislation that will affect the Vermont Department of Corrections.

The department is holding a town hall meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

The meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. via Vermont interactive television, which has sites across the state.

An agenda for the meeting can be found on the department's website.

People attending the meeting will have an opportunity to provide public comment and suggest topics for future discussion.
