UCS infants and toddlers learn about butterflies with CLR residents

Posted

BENNINGTON -- Children from the United Counseling Service’s Infant and Toddler Center spend time with residents of Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s Centers for Living and Rehabilitation each week for an activity.

Last week, weeks of learning about the lifecycle of butterflies at UCS culminated in the release of the butterflies in the CLR courtyard. After the insects took flight, children and seniors worked together to plant a butterfly bush as a habitat for some of the butterflies.Visit http://svhealthcare.org/services/living-rehabilitation/ for more about CLR.
