The Theater Barn: Season beginning with Busch farce


NEW LEBANON, N.Y -- The Theater Barn opens its 2014 season Friday evening with Charles Busch’s comedy, "You Should Be So Lucky."

This contemporary comedy about an eccentric young electrologist in Greenwich Village who helps an elderly millionaire is scheduled to run through July 6. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays.

As the plot unravels, Busch’s farce involves a ghost, a new-found Prince Charming and a neurotic talk show host.

The cast includes Theater Barn veterans John Trainor, Daniel Dunlow and Stephen Powell. Joining them are newcomers Jamie Bock, Elizabeth Roberts and Erin Waterhouse. Phil Rice is directing.
