State police investigate camp burglary

STAMFORD -- Vermont State Police responded to a report of a burglary of a camp on Risky Ranch Road.

On Wednesday around 6 p.m., a North Adams, Masss., man reported that between Sunday and the time of the report, items including an air compressor, Stihl trimmer, a 410 shotgun, and numerous small items were stolen from the camp, police said.

Police said the case is still under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Trooper Thomas Stange at the Vermont State Police at 802-442-5421. Information can also be submitted anonymously online at www.vtips.info or text "CRIMES" (274637) to Keyword: VTIPS.
