Stannard voted back on the Dorset Select Board
DORSET —After losing by five votes last year, John "Jack" Stannard has made it back onto the Dorset Select Board.
This year, there was one three-year position open as well as two one-year positions.
Stannard beat Michael Connors with 384 votes against Connors' 355 votes. Stannard previously served the community for 12 years.
Fighting for Henry L. Chandler's seat was Dan Frost and Megan Thorn. Chandler took the win with 527 votes along with Thorn's 409 votes. Frost fell behind with 340.
